Furniture Decisions 2

In the previous Post, Furniture Decisions One, I mentioned Good Lines, running parallel to the walls and Naughty Lines which go across the room diagonally. In most cases we place furniture on good lines but there are exceptions.
For example, when a television is across a corner it’s on a Naughty line, although it can be redeemed by placing the tv on a round or oval table. Alternatively a round lamp or plant can be positioned alongside the screen. In terms of Feng Shui these items prevent energy from getting stuck in corners. Some of us can detect and clear it away, bringing fresh energy to the building, but I digress. . .
When a large piece of furniture is placed on an angle it appears to take up a lot more space; have some fun and experiment, for example, with bed placement or a large chair. Notice how much bigger they appear when they jut out on an angle. This works in your favour when the space is huge and you want it feel more intimate.
